Wanganui District Council and the Palmerston North City Council have their own archives facilities. Requests for information from these two collections need to be made to them. All other councils have placed their archives in a shared facility based at 40 Bowen Street, Feilding.
When requesting information please ensure you have noted the reference number, title and date of the entries you are interested in, and clearly state what information you are hoping to locate. Alternatively a request can be submitted using the online enquiry system, which is available to registered users (see the link above for more information on using the system).
