Castlecliff Linking Group

The purpose of the Linking Group is to link the various groups of Castlecliff, and work together as a team for the betterment of the area. Membership comprises representatives from Castlecliff Residents’ Committee, Wanganui Beach Society, Progress Castlecliff, Port Bowen Trust, Duncan Pavilion Management Committee, Friends of the Shoreline, and Castlecliff Community Trust, with two Councillors and a Council officer. The Group holds monthly meetings in the Duncan Pavilion, with hireage paid by the Council, but otherwise receives no Council funding. It makes recommendations to the Community Services Committee, on how best to spend moneys allocated to the area.
