History
In 1973 the new Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction Board was formed from the amalgamation of the Northern, Eastern and Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction Boards. In 1989 the Board amalgamated with the Hawkes Bay Catchment Board and other authorities to form the Hawke's Bay Regional Council.
