History
In 1910 the Hawke's Bay Rivers Board was established by the Hawke's Bay Rivers Act, replacing the Taradale, Clive, Pukahu and Meanee River Boards. In 1950 the River Board was dissolved and it's functions were taken over by the Catchment Board.
