History
The Committee was created in 1919 to create a suitable memorial following World War One. The Ormondville Peace Memorial Hall was opened in 1922. In 1989 the ownership of the land was passed to the Dannevirke District Council. The Committee continued to administer the hall until 1993 when they were combined with the Ormondville Domain Committee.
