Trustees of the Wanganui General Cemetery

The agency was established for administration of the cemetery, including the setting of fees and cemetery maintenance. The Trustees were apointed by the Superintendent of Wellington Province, who also had to approve any taking of land and charging of fees. Details of Trustees, land, fees and accounts were to be published in the Provincial Gazette. In 1914 application was made to close the cemetery as it had reached its capacity. Trusteeship was transferred to the Borough Council in 1915.
