Wanganui Health Task Force

The Task Force was established following the release of a draft 3-year business plan by Good Health Wanganui, and a public meeting to discuss community concern at proposed job losses and reduction in health services. Task Force members included District Councillors and staff, health professionals, and consumers. Although formed under the auspices of the District Council, it was an independent body. The Task Force released a major report, and held its final meeting on 6 June 1996.
