This series contains files created by the Harbour Master in the course of their work from 2001 to 2011, although a small number of files have papers both before and after these dates.

Half the files are numbered with a 460 prefix, but this was not consistently applied and many files have no number at all. A new numbering system was introduced in 2011 as part of a wider change at the Regional Council.

A running number sequence has been imposed by archives staff to aid retrieval, but any original file numbers found have been noted in the notes field.

The files contain correspondence both from and to the Harbour Master and cover a variety of subjects concerning the port.
