Minutes of Board Meetings

This series consists of minutes of meetings of the Hawke's Bay Catchment Board members. The minutes are a record of decisions reached on financing the Board’s work, correspondence received from outside organisations and people, the initial hiring of staff, reports on work undertaken and demands from the public and complaints dealt with. They provide a legal framework for the operation of the Board and underpin all other records kept.

They are arranged in meeting date order, all the pages are numbered and there is a separate set of indexes for all volumes. Meetings were run as formal committee meetings with notices of motion moved, seconded and voted on.
