This series contains the minute books of the second Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction Board created in 1973 and disestablished in 1989.
Meeting minutes were kept as a record of discussions, decisions and actions undertaken by the Board. Items covered in the minutes included the reading of inward and outward correspondence, accounts passed for payment, reports, housing, outstanding rates and eradication issues. The minutes are typed and pasted into the volumes. There are no indexes but the minutes are in chronological order.
The series contains a complete set of books and the final volume contains the last minutes of this Board.
