This series concerns the minute books for the Akito Rabbit Board for 1924-1948. Minutes after 1948 are missing. The first meeting of the Akito Rabbit Board trustees was held Wednesday 28th October 1925 in Pongaroa. Minutes were used as keeping a record of decisions, discussions and actions carried out by the board. Minuted items include the reading of inward and outward correspondence, accounts passed for payment, Wages, Rabbit eradication issues and Inspectors reports. There is no index but minutes appear to be in chronological order.
