This series contains carbon copies of Notices to clear land of noxious weeds, used by the Apiti-Pohangina Rabbit Board for 1937-1940. Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1928 land occupiers were required to clear weeds that were considered to be noxious including Foxglove, Blackberry, Hemlock, Burdock and Gorse. Record details include land owner (or occupier), date, weed required to clear, description of land and signature of inspector. There is no index but records appear to be in chronological order of date notice issued.
