Hunterville Pest Destruction Board Minute Books

This series contains the minute books for the Hunterville Rabbit Board (after 1968 the Hunterville Pest Destruction Board) for 1925-1974. Minutes were kept to record all the Boards discussions, decisions and actions during this time. Items recorded included the reading of inward and outward correspondence, accounts passed for payment, inspectors reports, poison, ammunition, rabbit eradication and noxious weeds. There is no index but records are in chronological order. The minutes from 1930 to 1955 have been typed and pasted into the book apart from March 1945 to April 1951 which have been hand written. Minutes are in date order and there is no index. Records appear to be complete apart from pages 42 and 189 missing from the second book.
