This series contains the letter books of the Makerua Drainage Board. The books cover the dates 1909-1923, if there were earlier or later volumes they have not been found. The books contain letter press copies of correspondence sent from the Board to external sources in the course of the Board’s operation. They are bound in date order and they are indexed by name in an index at the front of each book.
