Manawatu Pest Destruction Board Cash Book

This series concerns the cash books for the Manawatu Pest Destruction Board for 1981-1989. An outward and inward cash books were used by the board during this time to record all financial transactions made. The inward cash book details include the date, name, bank, place, amount, total credit, receipt number, details and whether it concerned rates, sale of plant, sale of materials, grants in leiu rates, trainee grant, other grants , outwork or sundries. The outward cash book recorded the date, name and cheque number. The items were categorised into columns covering wages, repairs and maintenance, poisons, ammo, advertising insurances etc. Entries for both books are in chronological order.
