Descriptive Note
This series contains the cash books used by the Moutoa Drainage Board from 1908 to 1990. The first two books contains information on receipts and payments made by the Board. The payment entries record the person or company who paid money to the Board or received payment as well as what account the money went into or came out of. There is no index and entries are listed in date order. The other two books are laid out slightly differently, one book records the inwards cash entries while the other records the outwards entries. They record the same sort of information as the first two and they are also listed by date.
