This series holds the rate books of the Oroua Drainage Board for 1928-1967. The books record the valuation roll number, the name of the occupier, legal description of the property, rateable value and details of the rates to be paid and under what class they came under. The rates were set under the provisions of the Rating Act 1925 and the Land Drainage Act 1908. Entries are listed alphabetically by surname.
