Patea Waitotara Pest Destruction Board Correspondence Files

This series contains the Correspondence Files of the Patea Waitotara Rabbit Board (after 1968 the Patea Waitotara Pest Destruction Board) for 1954-1974. Correspondence files were used to keep a record of the Board business and functions. A sub series has been used for this file system. The files use a subject by letter classification with a number following if there are multiple volumes or multiple subjects within that letter. (i.e. P1 is Poison Factory – Cyanide Purchases and P2 is Possums & Air Drop Reports). The assorted correspondence on file includes application for permit to operate land radiotelephone, Sodium Cyanide issues, insurance, property, rate payers lists, supervisors reports and tenancy agreements.
