Puketoi Rabbit Board Minute Book

This series contains the complete Puketoi Rabbit Board meeting minutes from 1923 – 1948. The Puketoi Rabbit Board was established in June 1923, The board of trustees consisted of six members. This minute book captures the Puketoi Rabbit Boards discussions and decisions on rabbit eradication, properties on which the rabbit eradication occurred, Rabbitors reports, methods of eradication and issues arising during the eradication process. Minuted in this book also included the administration of authorisation for payments of accounts and the Rabbitors wages, reading of inward and outward correspondence and rating issues. At the end of 1948 the Puketoi Rabbit Board amalgamated with Akito and Pongaroa Rabbit Boards to be known as the Akito Rabbit Board.
