This series concerns the minute book for the Wanganui Rabbit Board (after 1968 the Wanganui Pest Destruction Board) for 1926-1972. The first meeting of the trustees was held in the Wanganui County Chambers, Wanganui on Wednesday, November 3rd 1926. Minutes were used to record all manner of the Boards business including reading of inward and outward correspondence, passing of accounts for payment, reports, financial statements, ammunition and poisoning operations. There is no index but minutes are in chronological order. From 1926-1963 the minutes are written directly into the volume, after February 1963 they are type written and pasted in.
