Whangaehu Rabbit Board Minute Book

This series contains the minute book for the Whangaehu Rabbit Board for 1921-1956. The first meeting of the trustees was held in the Wanganui County Council Chambers, Campbell Place, Wanganui on Wednesday December 14th 1921. Minutes were used to record the business of the Board during this time. Items recorded in the minutes included the reading of inward and outward correspondence, accounts passed for payment, balance sheets, Rabbiters reports and eradication issues. There is no index but the minutes are in chronological order. There is a newspaper clipping regarding the constituting the Wangaehu Rabbit District which can be found attached near the beginning of the book.
