Building Permit Registers

This series concerns the Foxton Borough Council Building Permit Registers for 1923 to 1989. The first volume begins in 1923 although the Permit number starts at 331 and ends at 498, it then restarts using a six digit numbering system starting from 024001 in April 1960. it is unknown if an earlier volume exists. Details found in the registers include Permit Number, Owners Name, Section and Street, Estimated Cost, Nature of Permit, Date and fee. The name of the builder is also recorded after 1954.
