Artwork depicting the branch and flowers of a cherry blossom tree. Gifted to the City of Palmerston North by Madame Li, Ambassador of The People's Republic of China, on 28 May 1992.
Artwork is a cherry blossom tree branch made of melted black plastic on a white background. Surround is a light turquoise with black wooden frame. Artwork has Mandarin writing alon top left and bottom right corners of obverse. A printing stamp on a sticker is evident underneath the bottom left part of the artwork. A sticker on the back states the details of donation to Palmerston North. A metal hanging device is on the top part of the wooden frame.
