Descriptive Note
Chinese hanging scroll painting depicting a rural scene using watercolours. Gifted to the Mayor's Office by an unknown visiting Chinese delegation circa 2000.
Scroll has two black handled wooden rollers. Painting is on paper and applied to yellow linen backing with purple borders on left and right sides. Painting contains Mandarin writing and two printing stamps in top right corner. Housed in original cardboard box.
