Prepared by the Manawatū Group of the Society of Geneaologists.
Headstones were transcribed in brief form in 1974 by W. J. Houston. In 1984 the cemetery was transcribed again, copying the inscriptions in full, and checking with the earlier transcription in case any headstones had disappeared in the invervening years.
A copy of the burial records held by the Ashhurst Cemetery & Domain Board, dating from 1901 to 1969 follows the transcription of headstones.
Transferred to PNCC Archives in 2020 and retrospectively filed with the records of the former Oroua County County.
