Descriptive Note
A Japanes-style fan made in China with wooden holder and blue box. Gifted to the Mayor of Palmerston North, Jono Naylor, by visitors from Kunshan, January 2008.
Fan depicts a floral scene with buildings in background. Stand for fan is a two-piece, two pronged wooden structure and has "Kunshan - China" on the obverse and Mandarin lettering on the reverse, both in neon green. Box is dark blue with gold silk interior and Madarin writing on exterior.
