Untitled plan showing the position of numbered grave plots. Does not show any graves that are cut out of alignment with the surveyed plots. Plots which have been purchased and/or occupied are marked by diagonal lines drawn across the plot (although this convention has not been observed witht the plots in public reserves 2, 3, 4 and 5). The numbering pattern in this plan is the same as that in the burial registers (2/11/1, volumes 3 and 4), but the plan also shows the earlier numbering pattern of four blocks in the catholic section. Judging from the presence of the plots in Public Reserve (Children’s reserve) No. 5, this plan was drawn in (or after) 1926, the year in which this reserve was opened. This plan was used by the cemetery clerks of the Treasurer’s Department until 1979, when it was retired from service and replaced by a photocopy.
