Kairanga County Council Inward Correspondence

Bound volumes of Inward Correspondence (Numbered Series). This series appears to have operated in conjunction with series 3/2/5 (bound volumes of outward correspondence). A computer generated index (printed in numerical order) is bound in front of each volume. It contains the date of the letter, the name of the writer and the subject of the letter. The numbers assigned to these letters occasionally appear in the Council Minute Books (series 3/1/1, Volumes 21 and 22), after March 1984. These numbers appear in brackets in the minutes after the description of items of inwards correspondence considered by the Council. No numerical index for Volumes 37 – 40
