Palmerston North City Council Core Policies

Four core policies to provide direction in the work of the Palmerston North City Council. Policies are: Economic Development Policy; Social Policy; Leisure Policy; Natural and Built Environment Policy. The purpose of these policies is to provide an overview of the commitments made by the Council and to provide signposts to the existence of more detailed activity management plans. They show what Council will do to contribute to Community Outcomes identified by the city and also provide a means by which the Council can work in a coordinated and consistent manner to achieve this.
