Vouchers - Municipal Electricity Department Payments

A selection of vouchers, contains particulars of the goods or services received (usually accompanied by an invoice), the name of the account debited, and a receipt from the creditor, retained because of their association with the establishment and early development of the council’s electricity undertaking. Many of these documents relate to the power station at Terrace End, which is now (1997) being preserved as a museum by the Power Station Trust.
