Contract Cash Books (Northern part of County)

This series contains registers that recorded details around payments for contract work. Entries are by contract number and record a short description of the work, the contractor involved and all the dates and amounts of payments made. Contracts were numbered with a single running number, but with separate sequences for the northern and southern parts of the county. These records cover contracts No 1 to No 600 for 1900-1926.
