Contracts Ledger (1st Series)

This series contains a single register that records details around payments for contract work. Entries are by contract number and record a short description of the work, the contractor involved and all the dates and amounts of payments made. Contracts were numbered with a single running number, but this was periodically restarted by the Council. The final few entries are duplicated in the next series of ledgers.
