Frank Nicol's County Council Office Diary

This series concerns the diary of Frank Nicol for 1944. The entries begin from September 25, at this time Nicols was acting Town Clerk due to the recent passing of Harold H Richardson. It is not known if there were any more diaries after this time. Entries include meetings and appointments, administration, travel and noted conversations. This volume is actually the 1939 diary but has been used in 1944, the days and date of the month for 1939 and 1944 are the same. The 1939 year being struck out on each page that has an entry and in its place 1944 has been written. The diary is tabulated by month and has the day of that month on each page.
