Minutes of the Public Library Committee

This series contains the Minute Books of the Public Library Committee of the Taihape Borough Council for 1906-1949. The Committee set the direction of library related matters for the Council, made decisions within its delegated authority, and referred to the full Council any decisions for which they did not have delegated authority. After 1939 the committee minutes were bound with the main council minutes in series RDC 00021, but a separate set of minutes continued to be created in this series until 1949.
