Descriptive Note
This series contains a set of valuation slips created by the Valuation Department and sent to the Taihape Borough Council. They have been retained as they provide a useful access for researchers interested in a particular parcel of land for more than one year. The slips are arranged by valuation number and records the name and address of occupier and owner, rateable values, nature of improvements, details of leases, legal description and area of property.
