Rangitīkei District Council

Rangitikei District Council logoThe Rangitīkei District Council was formed in 1989 from an amalgamation of the Rangitikei County Council, Taihape Borough Council and the Marton Borough Council. The Rangitīkei District Council Collection contains the records of these numerous predecessor organisations, earlier road boards and town boards that operated within the current district boundaries from 1872-1989.
