This is an 8mm film of the Official Opening Ceremony and Dedication of the Eketahuna and District War Memorial which was held on Wednesday 6 July 1955 at 2pm. The openning ceremony officially started with an address by his worship the Mayor, Mr Seymour Young.
Present at the opening the Hon. S W Smith, Minister of Internal Affairs.
This film was donated to the Eketahuna Borough Council by Mr Seymour Young.
