Descriptive Note
This series contains maps of the County. The early maps were produced by the County, while later ones were purchased from the Lands and Surveys Department and they were used by the County for administrative purposes. Used in conjunction with the rate books it is possible to work the out the location of properties, which can then be compared to a modern map to work out the present day address of a property.
